MOSQUITO CONTROL REDUCTION

Mosquitoes are not only a nuisance to outdoor living but are also carriers of many serious diseases including West Nile Virus, encephalitis, malaria and canine heartworm among others.  They breed in standing water that has become stagnant.  Common areas of infestation include French drains, gutters, dense foliage, raised decks and turf and ground cover.  It only takes a small stagnant pool to produce thousands of mosquitoes.  As an example, a stagnant pool the size of a coffee can has the potential to produce in excess of 10,000 mosquitoes over the course of a summer. 

The best defense to these invasive pests is a combination of common sense and a consistent mosquito control program.  All Pest Solutions  can  significantly reduce adult mosquitoes on your property by eliminating existing mosquito larvae developing in standing water before they become breeding, biting adults with a two step program:

Step One – Mosquito Inspection:

• Inspection of the property to identify mosquito-breeding sites.
• Consult with the homeowner on proper methods of eliminating breeding sites.
• Treatment of breeding sites using larvicides when necessary.

Step Two – Mosquito Control:

All Pest Solutions Mosquito Control Program consists of a regular monthly treatment regimen (April-September) with a contact adulticide and larvicide in the landscape and hardscape areas of the property where the mosquitoes reside and breed thereby reducing the adult mosquito population on the property.
